I knew this was all about religion. It just didnt really click. The israelis are bulldozing families because "god" supposedly gave them that land? Do they really think "god" approves of this practice? It is not their land! Some fictional book says it is so they kill ppl and oppress ppl and use it as an excuse for atrocities. Israel never should have been put there in the first place but it certainly shouldn't be trying to expand its borders because of a fairy king. Its absolutely rediculus.

They are not bulldozing them because god told them, you silly woman. They bulldoze them because of a court order in each case.

The court order is obtained by the state and allows for removal of premises which may need to be removed for security or other reasons.

The land where court orders are given for removal of houses or other propertys is under the jurisidiction of the state of Israel.

The West Bank territory is technically under Israeli military control and is subject to emergency court powers to allow this.

The reasons can be many.

If the house is inside what we say in IDF a security circle -which is the circle surround a Jewish settlement where we decide only Jewish ID holders can enter- then the house must be moved.

The court makes sure that correct notice period is given to occupiers of the house and the correct reason of why - they also can appeal and hear the case be held in Jerusalem.

Other reasons is pure security. For example inside of Gaza when we do Cast Lead there is a property where there is consistent gunfire to us from this point. I was part of unit which when we have overrun this position asks for bulldozer to come in and remove this house to stop future problems.
This also needs approval from military command to do this. This override court because it is situation of emergency.

It can depend.

Bulldozers do not just come and take away what home they like on that day you know.
The media dont tell you this.
