The Israel/Palestine topic.

How can you tell the difference between propaganda and fact?  Can you tell the difference? Let's look at the Israeli offensive against Jenin refugee camp.

So what do you believe happened?

The 2006 war in Lebanon

C'mon who's telling porkies?

The Lebanese Ambulance hoax?

The Lebanese did claim Israel scored a direct hit on a red cross ambulance which fooled the useful idiot leftists  yet turned out to be lies.

The al Dura hoax was another time the Palestinians were caught red handed telling lies.

Turn your bullshit detectors on when the topic is Islam

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

You two aren't really putting in study time on the links I provided are you? You must see this sort of response just shows a limitted attention span. Solving the problems of the M/E like we are attempting to do here will require more effort on both sides.

It seems I must remind you again that good and decent people like Moshe & Munir are relying on you.

Unlike you people I have played a role in helping this issue.
I know what must happen.

It is up to the Palestinians if they want war or peace.

You see Avram, you don't like Zionits being compared to Nazis I know. But when you objectively compare them...

Take one of the most notorious and heinous crimes perpetrated by the Waffen SS. The massacre of the town of Oradour-sur-Glane when 642 civilian men, women and children were murdered in reprisal for the resistance capturing a German officer; and their town razed.

Terrible things, but when compared to the 'total war' declared on civilians and fleeing foreign national holidaymakers the length and breadth of Lebanon under similar circumstances in 2006 by the IDF... Well it makes the waffen ss look like a silly old lady who lacked the courage of her convictions.

Grey I do not support every thing committed by Israel since 1948.
Me I can only speak on what I know and see myself, or for what my family has tell me.

Now it is unfortunate when civilians and foreigners become involved and in the middle.
But some times it can not be help too.

Back in 2010 I get called to a demonstration in west bank.
Now there is Arabs being trouble in front of Jewish settlement.
We try to bring solution and arrest troublemaker but you know who is there??

Australian passport holders. White Australians not Arab ones. They are too the most offensive to we soldiers too and give insults in English.
Why are they there ?
You tell me -- what business do they have in this?
I personally say to one I will arrest him - I could do this because I did not see the correct ID -- but I tell him to leave now and stop communication with Palestinians.

Grey foreigners are more trouble than Arabs in my experience.

I am a moderate, I want peace but they must must must stop support for terror like Hamas.
I can support abbas I cannot support Hamas or Islamic jihad.

No Avaram, you are not a moderate. There in your own words you sound like a total Nazi to me. And Avaram I AM moderate. I accept that the vast majority of Jews in Israel went there in good faith. I don't want them 'driven into the sea'.

But that's what is going to happen while you lot are so intractable. You're like a lot of Germans under Hitler. Basically decent but totally overwhelmed by propaganda. The return of a proportion of the Jewish diaspora after 2000 years could have been a win win situation. But it's clear from the Zionist writings from the very begining that the project was aiming to drive Palestinians from their homes. Zionism is therefore a deeply flawed project right from the foundations up.

The propaganda machines are humming along nicely on both sides. I think Haaretz does a pretty good job of being relatively balanced. There is some bias of course, but overall they're pretty good.

The media there are different to here, perhaps, in that they clearly have an agenda. While that's sometimes the case here too, our media seems to try and sell us what the target audience already wants. Sensationalism, fo the most part.

In the first link, they had information about the al Dura boy. The excuses for that particular tragedy really piss me off.
