I think Malik was a Shite. I once asked Abu about the Sunni vs Shite thing while Malik was still around. He accused me of trying to drive a wedge between him and Malik. Obviously this was given as a justification for not answering a simple question. I assumed at the time it was a bit like protestants and catholics playing good neighbours. I later found out that Abu and Falah believe that Shites should be stoned to death for apostasy. Abu also appears to believe that Shites and Sunnis never initiate violence against each other in the middle east - it is always the CIA or Mossad triggering it, and the local Muslims then follow suit and slaughter each other like well trained lemmings.

The Shi-ite sect was invented by a Yemeni Jew, Abdullah ibn Saba'.

He introduced a number of concepts that were adpoted by the people who became the Shi-ites such as the exaltation of Ali, and their belief in Ali's "divine appointment" by the Islamic prophet Muhammad as a successor, the concept of ghayba and return (rajʿa) were first formulated and expressed by Ibn Sabaʾ and his followers.

The Shi-ites took on many characteristics of Jews such as praying three times per day.

Falah where does it say in the Quran how many times a day you have to pray can you cite the verses?
