Greens senator backed Binse over prisoner education

A federal Greens senator who once congratulated the gunman at the centre of a stand-off in Melbourne's west on his efforts to prevent crime says the siege is outrageous but recidivism still needs to be addressed.

Senator Lee Rhiannon told The Age she has not been in contact with Christopher Dean Binse, who goes by the nickname 'Badness', since the two held a joint press conference in February 2005 to highlight conditions in the maximum security wing of Goulburn prison in New South Wales.

Do any of the GREENS have a photo on their wall of Ivan Milat? I think the GREENS would view Ivan as a poster boy for backpackers.

The ALP, the progressive party, the party of ideas, the workers' friend, is the only Australian political party to roast four young Australians in roof cavities. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

The Greens are SUCH good judges of character. and Rhiannon is a true pig of a 'woman'.

"I would like to put on record that I congratulate Chris Binse for the work he is undertaking to reduce the number of people who end up on the wrong side of the law," she wrote.

Changing the path of people heading to jail, saves tax dollars and family pain.

I find it odd that the greens have a deep hatred of law abiding gun owners and continually imply that disarming this group will solve gun crime in society; but when faced with a bonafide scumbag violent criminal, they will find any excuse to down play his criminal activity and make out he is just a good person misunderstood.

Scumbag violent criminal = good

Average gun owner = bad

And only one of them actually tries to kill human beings for sh1ts and giggles.

A vote for greens is a vote for lunacy

Probably because we aren't gullible.

Community improvement certainly worked for Christopher Dean Binse.
