Fake Syria Solidarity NGO Supports “Moderate” Terrorists. Bans Prof. Tim Anderson from Conference

May 26, 2016

Fake Syria Solidarity NGO supports the moderate Al Qaeda terrorists.

University of Sydney professor and Global Research author Tim Anderson was an invited keynote speaker.

He has been banned following a hate campaign waged by a British based NGO which supports terrorism.

The SSUK accuses Tim Anderson of supporting the Assad government, yet the evidence amply confirms that this fake human rights groups is supporting the US-NATO sponsored terrorists.

“In an attempt to claim the moral high ground, Washington uses proxy NGOs alongside proxy militia, to maintain the fiction that the Syrian Army does nothing but attack Syrian civilians.”

Text of  Fake Human Rights NGO:

To the participants and organisers of the ‘Crossing Borders’ Conference

Refugees conference invites Assad supporter as keynote speaker

The Cooperative Institute for Transnational Studies in collaboration with the University of Aegean (Laboratory EKNEXA-Department of Sociology) have announced a conference on the refugee crisis, ‘Crossing Borders,’ in Lesvos, Greece, on 7-10th July.

We are very concerned to note that the list of speakers includes Tim Anderson, a supporter of the Assad regime, for the reasons given in the open letter below.

To the participants and organisers of the ‘Crossing Borders’ Conference

….

The fact the conference is sponsored by the Stop The War Coalition and stopimperialism.org, two organisations which have been unwilling to condemn or criticise the actions of the regime, causes us further concern.

We call on the conference organisers to disinvite Tim Anderson and issue a strong statement condemning the repression of the Assad regime against the Syrian people. If they are unwilling to do this, we call on other participants like Paul Mason and Nina Power, activists who are committed to the struggle for social change and against oppression, not to participate in the conference alongside known regime apologists. We welcome discussion and debate about the causes and solutions to the refugee crisis, but pro-regime apologists should not be a part of this discussion.

US fighters caught on cam on ISIS frontline in Syria

Published on May 27, 2016
US Special Forces operatives have been photographed fighting alongside the Kurdish militia in northern Syria in a drive against the Islamic State-held city of Raqqa. The Pentagon insists the Americans are there in “advise and assist” capacity only, however.

Israeli deputy PM admits to visiting Aleppo secretly

May 29, 2016

Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Ayoub Kara has acknowledged to have paid a clandestine visit to Syria's Aleppo, which is under the control of foreign-backed Takfiri terrorists.

The Syrian army and its allies have been fighting to wrest control of the country's second city from terrorists who have reportedly received advanced weapons in recent weeks.

Kara did not say when his visit took place, saying “I won't get into it," the Israeli daily Haaretz reported.

“Aleppo today is abandoned… Today when you enter it, you won't even think that it's Aleppo. It doesn't even remind you of Aleppo,” he said instead.

Late last month, Syrian officials and locals confiscated a vehicle loaded with Israeli-manufactured weapons in the southern province of Suwayda.

A military source told Syria’s official news agency SANA that the vehicle was traveling from the eastern countryside of Dara'a to the desert region of Badiya.

Anti-personnel landmines, RPG rounds and launchers, B9 shells, 120 mm, 80 mm and 60 mm mortars, grenades and 23 mm machine-gun rounds were among the confiscated weapons.

Syria says Israel and its Western and regional allies are aiding Takfiri terrorist groups operating inside the Arab country.

The Syrian army has frequently said it had seized Israeli-made weapons and advanced military equipment from the foreign-backed militants.

Israel’s Channel 2 television network recently reported that wounded militants are transferred quietly into the occupied territories for medication and that the number has surpassed 2,100 since 2011.

In December 2015, Britain’s English-language tabloid newspaper Daily Mail said Israel has saved the lives of over 2,000 Takfiri militants at the cost of about USD 13 million since 2013.

'Terrorist' Kurdish badges on US soldiers 'unsuitable' for US-Turkey relations - deputy PM

30 May, 2016

Turkey has questioned its relationship with the US, with the deputy prime minister saying it is "unsuitable" for soldiers of a country which is friends with Ankara to wear the badges of a "terrorist organization."

Turkey's deputy prime minister and government spokesman Numan Kurtulmus was referring to an incident in which US Special Forces operatives were photographed fighting alongside Kurdish militia against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in northern Syria. The Pentagon said the American forces had only been present in an advisory capacity.

The politician also added that he does not believe that the US will continue its current approach in Syria as this would hurt relations with an important ally like Turkey.

Ankara has become enraged by the US continuing to support Kurdish YPG forces in Syria in their fight against IS. Turkey considers the Kurdish forces to be a terrorist organization with ties to the banned Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), which is fighting its own battle against Ankara in Turkey.

In February, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan launched a furious attack on the US, telling Washington to choose between Turkey and - as he put it - the “terrorists.”

"Is it me who is your partner, or the terrorists in Kobane?" Erdogan said, adding that both the PYD and the YPG are "terrorist organizations."

The presence of more than a dozen US troops in the village of Fatisah, north of Raqqa which were caught on film by a photographer for Agence France-Presse (AFP), has done little to calm tensions between Ankara and Washington.

“Our special operations forces in the past have, yes, worn insignias and other identifying marks with their partner forces,” Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook told reporters on May 26.

They “do what they can to blend in with the community” and enhance their own protection, Cook said, citing operational security in refusing to confirm or deny any details about the troops involved.

In an effort to get the US to stop cooperating with Syrian Kurds, Ankara has proposed creating a joint force with Washington in order to conduct a special operation inside Syria.

"If we join forces, [the US] have their own special forces and we have our special forces," Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, as cited by AFP. “A second front should be opened but not with the PYD.”

"The subject we are discussing with the Americans is the closure of the Manbij pocket [strategic border area] as soon as possible... and the opening of a second front," he added, in reference to the route which IS uses to smuggle fighters and weapons into Syria.

Israel’s apologists and the Martin Luther King Jr. hoax

In formal logic, Argumentum Ad Verecundiam refers to arguing a point with an appeal to authority. This type is categorized as a logical fallacy. Citing one seemingly authoritative source is simply not conclusive evidence, even if the authority is seen as an expert on the given subject.

For the sake of clarity, there are three degradations of this maxim enumerated in this essay. First, it is especially fallacious as proof when the quoted authority demonstrates no special knowledge on the subject. Second, when the authority who is not an expert on the given subject is also quoted out of context, the argument is even weaker. Third, the lowest violation of this formal logic principle is when an advocate uses a false rendition, or a fabricated quote, by the same authority who can claim no expertise.

This is the best framework for understanding how various exponents of Israel have used Martin Luther King Jr. to promote their cause.

Dr. King’s expertise as a non-violent civil rights leader and visionary are unparalleled in U.S. history. However, that does not make him an informed commentator on Middle Eastern affairs or on the ideological facets of Zionism. As impressive as the references to his views on Israel may seem, this is a textbook example of Argumentum Ad Verecundiam.

To be fair - what about the bravery of Syria's soldiers?

You can't trump me on Jewish ancestry - but I like to be even-handed.

Russian MoD Slams Reports of Conducting Airstrikes in Syria's Idlib

31.05.2016

Earlier Reuters reported citing the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that Russian Aerospace Forces had allegedly carried out airstrikes in Idlib.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian aviation did not conduct any operations in the Syrian province of Idlib, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj.-Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Tuesday.

"There were neither military tasks nor airstrikes by Russian aviation in the province of Idlib," Konashenkov said.

We call for being more critical regarding these "horrors" by a "British tandem" consisting of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and Reuters news agency."

Airstrikes kill ‘terrorists’ in Idlib; Turkey cries foul

May 31, 2016

Dozens of Takfiri militants have been killed and scores of others injured in airstrikes overnight in the Syrian city of Idlib, media reports say.

At least 37 terrorists were killed and more than 80 others injured after their gathering sites were hit in airstrikes, Lebanon’s al-Ahd news website said on Tuesday.

Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen television said the positions of Jaish al-Fatah, an ally of al-Qaeda-linked Nusra Front, were bombed in the attacks.

Turkey said on Tuesday that heavy airstrikes by Russian jets had hit a hospital and a mosque in Idlib, killing more than 60 civilians and injuring around 200 people.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry called on the international community to act swiftly against what it called the "indefensible" crimes of the Russian and Syrian administration.

Russia’s Defense Ministry, however, denied airstrikes in Idlib, the RT television reported in a breaking news item.

Turkey stands accused of supporting Takfiri militants in Syria.

Nusra and other Takfiri terrorists hold most of the northwestern province of Idlib and parts of neighboring Aleppo province.

On Sunday, Associated Press said Nusra Front has used a March ceasefire to recruit thousands of militants, including teenagers, who had used the Turkish border to slip into Syria.

It is "illustrating how the ceasefire put in place by Russia and the United States to weaken the militants has in many ways backfired," the news agency said.

Since March, Nusra Front has recruited 3,000 new militants, including teenagers, in comparison to an average of 200 to 300 a month before, AP quoted the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights as saying.

Other sources said hundreds living in camps for displaced people in the northern parts near Turkey have joined the al-Qaeda branch.
