Well Newman certainly thinks he is a smooth talking slick stuffer, but if you listen carefully he just gabbles in bland cliches all the time keeping a straight face. I don't know how he does it Huh

Part of the problem is that journos don't like/don't have time for critical thinking. They prefer to be spoon-fed by one lobby group or another. At best they'll provide a "balanced" report (spoon-fed by two sources), but even that is rare these days. What's next? News by Facebook?

I'm sure we will see Mark announcing that in the next 12 months.
Probably a merger with Murdoch for billions.
One things that really grates every night is the "Guest Twitterér" on Lateline.
FFS it's supposed to be a serious news program from the National Broadcaster, not some forum for 160 character smart ass comments
