There is a unifying principle. All forms of life have much in common with other forms of life. The "soul" is an emotive term that indicates the "software" that inhabits the hardware of our bodies, but if you destroy the hardware, the software can not survive, although to some extent, the ideas and inspirations of an individual can live on with others.
On our planet yes, but we can't be sure that's the case for other areas of the galaxy and other galaxies all together. We are all made of the same compounds which will always react/act the same when placed in certain conditions.
Most animals and organic things share common ratios in their makeup and this is even displayed as a physical attribute in some cases.
Yes, the software does not exist without the hardware so to speak.
Quote:Some call that unifying principle "God". Some refer to the sense of mystery that surrounds life as "God". Some don't find the concept of God to be very useful, but still believe in essentially the same things, describing everything in naturalistic terms.
Does it matter? No.
God, is but one possibility in an infinite number of possibilities.
Does it matter? No, but if you say its fact expect to get debunked.
