What If CO2 Compensation Isn't An Election Issue
Jun 5th, 2012 at 7:35am

The hard right think that they can still fool Australians over 12 months after the carbon compensation has come in and so think this will be their free ride ticket into government.

What if everyone except Abbott has wised up by the election ... and the election is on a bigger issue : cost of living.

How will the hard right say they are better at lowering cost of living pressures when they are out to rip the Co2 compensation off everyone.

Surely Voters will wise up. the cost of living will always be higher under an Abbott government.

yes its a bit predictable, isnt it. did you notice that green-snot had not ONE SINGLE POST over Thomson? Obviously he doesnt like watching his beloved govt self-destruct.

2/3 of people hate the carbon tax and it is that rejection that will drive Abbott into the lodge and keep the ALP there for 10 years.

He assumes that the other 33% supports the carbon tax therefore Greens' vote will increase from 12% to 33% therefore overtaking the ALP's 26%  Shocked Shocked Shocked Grin Grin Grin

Your thread is on a month old poll from the past.

This one is on a poll into the future.

Abbott will increase cost of living pressures trying to rip of CO2 compensation, so why would voters support higher cost of living pressures under an Abbott senario.

he has a rather silly logic that somehow removing the carbon tax will increase cost of living for people. He really isnt the sharpest tool in the shed, is he?

Now poll the people and ask how many like handing back the compensation.

How many pensioners would like to see Abbott reduce their pension.

How many minimum wage earners would like to see Abbott claw back some of their latest pay rise.

How many Australians would like to pay more tax when Abbott reduces the tax free threshold from $18,000, down $12,000.

Who would like to give some of their income back to Abbott, so he can introduce workchoices and slash their conditions and wages further.

And then flood foreign workers in so to lower incomes even more.

Compensation was a reason the minimum wage was increased so minimal, because they calculated the benefit of the compensation above the cost.

The compensation is a wage/pension rise and Abbott wants to force up the cost of living, by stealing it off everyone.

Abbott will take workers and welfare recipients payments and slash them. Then impose their carbon tax without compensation.

So to increase the cost of living.

Abbott wants to force up the cost of living.

Actually Abbott plans to harvest the organs of greens and gays. It makes as much sense as anything else you've said.

The electricity prices will not drop after abbott steals the compensation off everyone.

Electricity will be higher under a hypothetical abbott government.

Electricity companies will profit from Abbott forcing up the cost of living for pensioners and low to middle income Australians.

And that is your thread.

This thread is on co2 compensation.

By Abbott stealing it, he will be forcing up electricity prices, food prices, rents, rates and all the other costs.

The cost of living will be higher under Abbott when he steals the compensation and pockets it for himself.
