A Positive Alternative
Jun 7th, 2012 at 6:55am

''Every day I'm out there holding a bad government to account and promoting a positive alternative.''

Could the hard right posters please explain this spin they are using in light of what 'positive agenda' is this?

We know libs want to rip off cabon compensation off wages and welfare while keeping prices high.

Increase the amount of tax people pay by lifting the tax free rate up from $18K to $6K.

By making taxpayers pay for their carbon package without compensation.

By destroying agriculture with CSG

By destroying the GB Reef with coal ports.

By attacking workers with workchoice.

By sacking public service and reducing spending on health and education.

By keeping electricity prices high.

and so on.

This positive alternative, are they meaning from the perspective of Clive Palmer and other billionaires?

Could the hard right posters explain this positive agenda that the liberal party speak of?

Abbott is going to hand billions of taxpayers dollars to the big polluters with no compensation to households.
How is he going to pay for his dodgy climate change policy and why is he trying to hold up the economy and investment by constantly undermining Australia and creating an uncertain environment for investors?

Yes, I saw that quote this morning and had the same reaction. It's beyond me. But there again, the righties keep telling me I am supposedly stupid. So an explanation from them for this poor, simple mind would be much appreciated.

Just as Rudd did in 2007 and as ALL oppositions now do.

Get over it.

Why the bugger should we get over it?
It leads to bad outcomes.
It stinks of deception.
It relies on ignorant people making ill informed decisions.

Why can't we ALL demand better?

If Rudd stuck his head in the fire would you expect Tony too, as my mum used to say?
Of course not.
If his the messiah, if the Liberal party are the better government than take a stand & inform us of your plans & tell us truthfully how they would be achieved.

But that's not going to happen, Tony will release his thought bubbles 2 weeks before the polling day, tell us his figures add up & on the circus rolls Angry

Which is exactly what phony Tony is depending on. Who else remembers the 12 billion dollar black hole phony Tony had last election? now ask your self again, why would phony Tony want his policies out there and scrutinised? he's a dog and so are his supporters that condone these actions.
