like most things if you dont get the rebate/sub.. then you would be dead set against it...I think..
all those who get it.. in favor say AY!
You have to
pay for private health insurance to get the subsidy cods. Do you pay for private health insurance?
no I dont.. as I am looking at getting a hip replacement..I am now going through the first steps..seeing the surgeon.. have been told basically going public and going private doesnt mean a thing..it all depends on how bad your situation is.. and we all have the same surgeon..and even the private patient can end up in the public wards...
when I made my remarks I wsnt thinking about what I will get..I was thinking about how I would vote if I was in that situation..
rebates you vote how they affect you personally in other words..
and whats the point anyway we dont vote on one issue do we?
Wrong again Cods,
I do have private cover, and the difference is you won't get a bill.
I pay over 4k a year insurance (nett after rebates) and have the added bonus of receiving bills for aspects that private insurance does not cover.
Why have it?
Basically so I can always guarantee my loved ones will not be chucked in a queue, when they are in need of medical attention.
Unluckily, we are all disgustingly healthy, always have been, and I am hoping at least I can develop some expensive to treat disease, so I can start feeling like I have not been wasting my money.
If I may make a suggestion - rather than going for one big, chronic ailment, why not begin collecting small, acute ones? How about a recurrent bout of VD, acquired, as if in an around-the world adventure, in a wide variety of settings and circumstances? It could make you feel like a 19th century poet while rejoicing in the knowledge of having your money's worth as far as Swanny is concerned.
