Must make you proud to be a member of the loony Greens, eh?

So you don't support the tourist industry which is in itself a billion dollar industry and will last a lot longer than the coal industry. Do you think long term at all? Do you think at all?

so it is all about MONEY... LOL.. might have guessed..

me I am in favor of saving the reef.. not for me not for bloody tourists not for shipping.. but for the animals that live and breath there.. it was there long before me.  would like it to be there long after me.. and I would like these creatures to be there long after me as well.

but save it  for money!!!!! how gross is that?

Money seems the motivation of the hard right.

People don't have to be migrants to invest into tourist projects in Australia.

I know, I was suggesting an expansion of their campaign.  I suggest going global with this message.

Has been my point from day 0 Smithy.

And an elderly lady who needed to take up a manual labour low skill role in her twilight years.

Yep there's some Albert Einstein minds on display there.

All those things have a lot of bearing on one's intelligence and insight, don't they?

Statements like that make you look like the one with low intelligence.

Intelligent, well educated people do not tend to be shelf stackers my dear lady.

disagree by all means but stop being patronising

Patronising is my middle name cods.

I just dislike people such as the aforementioned two folk trying to speak to people like me on the same level.
They are not, they are below me if everyway I can think.

I am sorry if that comes across as arrogant but such is life.

Yes. Which is why WE have to be on the forefront of finding some alternative. The fit would really hit the shan in Australia if we let some other country develop alternative energies and we're then stuck selling product that nobody wants anymore wouldn't it?

Oh, I dunno. I've known intelligent, well educated shelf stackers and taxi drivers. I've known some very wealthy, mind numbingly stupid degenerate scum as well.

Strange isn't it. Cut locally but export more. What is the point of having a carbon tax at all.
