labor eats itself alive

Quote:
A LABOR-appointed panel says the Gillard government's mining tax creates an "unsustainable" incentive for the states to hike mining royalties.

The government's GST distribution panel, in its second interim report today, said under its current design, the states could “erode the commonwealth's entire onshore resource rent tax base” if they chose to...........

Nothing to copy from somewhere maqqa.
Your head must be like a desert, with the odd tumble weed blowing through to fool you into thinking you are actually capable of generating an original thought.
You are probably more like a puppet.
Ear to ear, solid wood.

Now for sprint, who can think for himself, a perspective he may not have considered on the matter.
There could be a danger of the states rising royalties for mining, if they were labor controlled, and were not afraid to have the billionaire miners club fund their electoral demise.
However, can anyone really expect WA, or QLD, to do anything to upset their mates??
I wouldn't think so.

Nothing to copy?  Grin Grin

When a poster don't reference an article - you threatened removal. When I don't post an article you use the tumble weed comment or that it's not original.

I am more than happy to post threads without any cut and copy.

So you either want a reference or you don't. Lets clear the rocks out of your head first shall we.

And you reply was pathetic.

BHP has been around a lot longer yet you've not referenced it in your comments. The only reason you are having a go at the others because they don't support the ALP

Yes spin I agree the policy of covering state opportunism is real stupid and ultimately unworkable.

As expected the title of the thread is about as poor as the policy and not relevant to the topic.

Don't see why a panel is required to come to such an obvious conclusion.

Once more, you fail to comprehend even the most basic point.
YOU are a fanboy, that is a person who is a little different from normal folk, in that they obsess over an interest,(yours is finding articles you believe show the the Liberals in the most positive light, and then pasting them here), but seem limited in areas of normal interaction, like sharing personal perspectives or insights, in a conversational manner.

Your first response here is a classic example.
It was one of the very, very, small percentage of posts you make, which shows us you thinking, and sharing what you think, rather than just pasting articles that others have composed.

Try and follow here, because there are TWO points to comprehend, which you will need to try and assimilate, if you wish to understand what I actually said, and why.

Firstly, the tumbleweed crack, was because the first post for god knows how long which was not just you pasting an article from somewhere else was;
Quote:
No lefties are willing to enter this debate with you sprint
-maqqa

You could have read the article sprint linked to, and added your voice of agreement, adding which aspects impressed you, and why, as that would have been you formulating, and offering, a personal opinion, rather than being the incessant bower bird, collecting all the shiny pro liberal tinsel you can find, to display( copy and paste only) from your nest here as maqqa.

Instead you tried to make a derogatory observation that no lefties had joined the conversation yet, presumably as an accusatory jibe that they may be trembling with fear and shame at the idea that states could raise Mining Royalties, if they so choose.

That was it.
No righties had joined either, before you, and you had absolutely ZERO add to, or offer on the subject, that Sprint had started.

OK, now the SECOND point.
You say reference, as if I need to reference my own personal opinions.
I don't, nor do you, nor does anyone else.

If you are composing a very comprehensive post, you may sometimes wish to reference points that are contested, and critical to your argument, when you are making declarations as facts, and not just personal perspectives.
Referencing things like that will certainly add credibility to a post, but it is not a prerequisite.
I referenced your quote, as a matter of etiquette, so people who may read it can see where content that I have not created myself, originated from.

So, if you are able to actually compose a post solely of your own opinions, without copying from other sources, you have no fear of it being removed for being unreferenced, because none are needed.
If you make a post combining original comments of your own, and copied comments of others, then referencing who those copied comments come from, is good manners, but not doing so would be unlikely to be a problem, unless the copied content is really the whole post, with just a cheer at the end for being pro-liberal from you.

Do you understand?
BTW maqqa, with the articles you do post, you do always provide the link, which is appreciated, and what you do in that situation, is all I am asking that others do as well.
So, don't think I am trying to find a way to remove your pastes, as some of the denser people here have alleged.
No, I just want everyone to follow your example, and supply proper links when pasting articles from other sites.

On a personal note, I would like to see you add more maqqa into your posts, to see if there may be more than just tumbleweeds blowing through, because if you stick to making the rare nonsensical jibe like your first post in here, I am left with no other conclusion to draw.
I cannot change that, only you can.

It is up to the left to justify these claims. After all you are in government

Once again - the copy and paste are references and you've asked for references otherwise you will delete

So you've been caught out mozz - suck it up princess

Good work maqqa.

Lignum vitae is famous for being the "densest" wood in the world.
I think I may have found what puppet maqqa is cut from.

I would have thought that a government appointed panel coming down with a decision that is not what the government wanted, rather than just giving a rubber stamp of approval, was a sign that the panel was prepared to do their job properly.  Would that not be something to be thankful for, rather than having a big whinge about it?
