China launches rocket to dock with space station

Looks like the chinese may win the space race in the end Wink

It kind of makes us here in Australia look dumb when all we can boast about is a couple of rich fatties with their pile of unprocessed minerals and a whole lot of ripoff banks Sad

China's Shenzhou-9 spacecraft, carrying the country's first ever female astronaut along with her two male colleagues, has set off for the stars. It blasted off earlier from the steppes of Gansu province in the north west, to cheers from a crowd at a special seeing-off ceremony.

The three astronauts will have to link up with Beijing's laboratory module, that's been in orbit since last September. They will conduct scientific tests and are expected to return home in around 10 days. Beijing hopes to establish its own permanent station in orbit by the end of the decade.

They are already the economic superpower of the world so they can afford to play space games now.

China and India have taken America's position as number one and two. How much debt does America have? Apparently all the money in the world wouldn't be enough to pay it off, so sad Cry

China are the quiet achievers, you don't need a big mouth when you're number one.

False - the Yanks no longer have a space vehicle to take
people to the International Space Station.
( except for a private company which can take cargo )

I don't idolise China at all, but I certainly don't think America has any reason to condemn other nations when their atrocities are so glaringly obvious to the world.
