WW3?
Jun 18th, 2012 at 12:01pm

Russia has moved ground forces and naval fleets into Syria to defend her, assuming they would have air force in as well.

The West is slowly progressing to a full blown invasion...

What do you think will happen?

Here are the links for a little idea of what Russia is doing, I am sure I do not need to supply links to tell you what the west is planing:

EXTRAORDINARY: Strong Russian ground forces moved in Syria
http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&...
Quote:
Another international exclusivity defencenet.gr confirmed: Sources told the Pentagon to the satellite television network NBC confirmed what we first broadcast on February 19, 2012: Russia has already sent special operations units to Syria for safekeeping of the naval base in Tartus , the only Russian naval base in the Mediterranean, but the array technologies and air defense systems S-300PMU2, the onshore missile battery P-800 Yakhont and Pantsir S1, but now things are even more severe.

Apart from the 431 Battalion of the VMF force which had been conveyed originally, now sending aid and the 76th airborne division «Pskov», the 15th brigade of ground forces based in Samara, but also special forces military intelligence agency GRU with executives who have experience from the front of Chechnya and will be directly involved in antiantartiko race.

It sends the message that Russia is very strong and clear "the ball" is on the western side. The United States alleged to have completed the executive planning and be prepared for various scenarios of air action on Syrian soil, but mainly to rush to the aid of friendly neighboring countries of Syria, namely Turkey, Jordan and Israel.

Things have been brewing for quite some time. Could this be the ignition?

the sad (and possibly scary) thing is that all parties know the consequences of their actions

Seems the ball is in the west's side of the court right now.
Russia have every right to do what they have done so the West will be at fault if something does happen.

Arh, classic lefty logic.
If something, anything goes wrong anywhere, somehow link it to the West and dissolve all responsibility for everyone else.

Of course it is, for you. You're not intellectually equipped to see it any other way.

Its clean cut that if you invade a country you are starting a war.

US enlists Britain's help to stop ship 'carrying Russian attack helicopters' to Syria
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/9336170/US-enlists-Br...
Quote:
The MV Alaed, a Russian-operated cargo vessel, is currently thought to be sailing through the North Sea after allegedly picking up a consignment of munitions and MI25 helicopters - known as "flying tanks" - from the Russian Baltic port of Kaliningrad.

Washington, which last week condemned Moscow for continuing to arm the Syrian regime, has asked British officials to help stop the Alaed delivering its alleged cargo by using sanctions legislation to force its London-based insurer to withdraw its cover.

Haha only the US is allowed to supply arms dont you know.
