Is Assange a queue jumper?

We see this week Assange ran to the nearest Embassy to claim asylum. I am sure he's not the first one to claim asylum

Lefties - especially the Greens are perpetuating that there is no such thing as a queue of asylum seekers.

By denying such things they are also denying the FACT that you can apply for asylum at ANY Embassy around the world.

Any TRUE asylum seeker would be running to the nearest Embassy - just like Assange - to claim asylum. Here is a list of Embassies in Afghanistan and Iraq.

http://embassy.goabroad.com/embassies-in/afghanistan

http://embassy.goabroad.com/embassies-in/iraq

Instead you see these so called asylum seekers country shop. They get on planes to go to Indonesia, destroy their documents and pretend to asylum seekrs aka Capt Emad

Looking at the definition a queue is
  • a file or line, especially of people waiting their turn
  • to form in a line while waiting

Their argument focus on one aspect of the definition of a queue ie you need to PHYSICALLY be in the line. Yes there are certain entertainment events requires you to be physically in the queue and yes if at the cricket and you are not in the queue then you'll never get to have a p1ss. But this is not what we are talking about are we?

The smarter lefties understand that physical presence is not always needed to form a queue or a line. But these ones are too cowardly to speak up against their brethrens.

When you submit a form to the ATO - it goes into a queue waiting to be processed.

When you commit a crime - you are also placed in a queue to attend court

So back to Assange - is he a queue jumper?

Quote:
Ecuadorean Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino confirmed at a news conference in Quito that Assange had personally written to President Rafael Correa to ask for asylum.

As the Associated Press reported:

On Assange's newly-launched television talk show which interviewed Correa via videolink earlier this year the pair swapped jokes and messages of encouragement.

It was during the interview that Assange received an offer of asylum, according to a woman who was present during the shows and familiar with the offer. She spoke on condition of anonymity because she was not authorized to speak to the media.

An online petition supporting Assnage's asylum bid has been set up, you can sign it here.

MAQQA is a true modern Howardist. They hate anyone and anything that might even have a hint of decency attached to it. They will exploit everything it is to be Australian for their own greed and selfishness and then they will blame it all on someone else. Maqqa simply does not realise that he is the problem.

That's because it's true.

You really need to learn a little more about this topic before making these ridiculous posts of yours.

There is no queue for asylum seekers.  Never has been, never will be.
Anyone who understands what an asylum seeker is, also understands this simple fact.

True, probably not, because its such a poo hole.

They can have another freak like Assange. Thankfully we'll never see him in this country again - what an embarrassment!!

Well, how DOES Australia select the 13,000 refugees for re-settlement every year? What ARE people waiting for in refugee camps if not their turn?

Tell us.

Assange has more guts than the majority, but he'll probably pay for it, because it is very dangerous to expose a country like the US, which is also backed to the hilt by Australia.

What a joke that Obama get a Nobel Peace Prize and kills thousands with drone attacks.

Assange gets nothing.

Julian Assange should be awarded Nobel peace prize, suggests Russia

Who would seriously wait for years in a refugee camp with no employment or schools watching their kids rot away when they have the chance to flee to another country where their family has a future?
Anyone with the means would never sit and rot in a camp waiting for their turn to be called and I seriously doubt that anyone here would pass up the chance given being put in a similar situation.
Australia is not the only country to see an influx of refugees looking for better lives and in fact our distance and lack of land borders makes us well down the list when it comes to asylum seekers.

The lack of land borders would make it easier to jump ship and land here illegally.
