Bottom line, Greens are the closest to christian values, and he doesn't like this so is clutching at straws.

Jesus did not teach social Darwinism, he did not teach survival of the fittest, the nihilistic atheist world view is a world view without kindness and hope, it is pure fatalism and has no comparison with the Jesus character, whether you believe it to be true or just part of western literature and wisdom, it refutes the defeatism of atheism as an ideology.
