This is a opposition the likes of which we have never seen in this country.

They actively promote objectives that are bad for Australia such that it reflects badly on the current government.

Be it
1) The more boat people the better. The more that sink the better.
2) Encouraging price rises from the carbon tax. Justified or not.
3) Block company tax cuts.
and a lot of lower visibility things as well.

Why would company tax cuts be bad for Australia? Wouldn't they make it a more desirable place to invest?

Julia Gillard - twice selected, never elected.

We're still paying for the Whitlam Government.

I mean it the other way round. They blocked company tax cuts.

Perhaps the media are just following the publics opinion??? More people are interested in what Abbott says that what Gillard says???

Lol sorry no thats not the reason. the media actively supports the liberal party for some reason. No idea how they chose since lib and lab about exactly the same. However thats the way it is so the legitimately elected govt doesn't get the airtime.

suck it up SOB. Abbott is the next PM. Anyhow, isnt it time for you to blame Howard for something like the Titanic sinking? dont you  'remember' that from somewhere?

again your an idiot ... you watch gillard do an interview and she gives and answers to questions raised ... you ask abbott a question and all he can do is go on about what a bad govt. we have .... I watched gillard on Q and A when she was on and in 1 hour she never once tried to blame the libs ...abbott on the other hand can't answer his name without going on about bad govt ....

The price rises are from the Carbon Tax.

The Carbon tax has not caused the increase of anything sold in shops at this point in time

Abbott and the majority of Australians don't want the carbon tax and they don't want the price rises from it.

So the obvious option is to tell lies about it

Informing people that their hard earned is being effected by the Govt's unmandated carbon tax is just sensible.

How is this true? Answer it's not.

Trying to hide the FACT that it's Labor's unmandated carbon tax that is responsible for making life tougher for everyone by blaming Abbott is laughable from you lefties...

So putting lies on placards and distributing them to outlets which are not impacted is OK then?

That in itself should be enough to see Lying Tony removed to the back bench. That a party which purports to be the alternative government would actively promote a campaign aimed at suggesting that business owners rip off consumers is beyond pathetic!

Last month, the Opposition sent posters to small businesses that appeared to suggest a link between price hikes and the carbon tax.

If Abbott is for encouraging price rises while the Liberals are in opposition, what will they do for ordinary people when they have real power?

He's made clear this week that the Liberals stand for damaging therelationships with Indonesia. His racist anti-foreigner stance will further damage Australia's international standing, encouraging attacks on 'otherness' in Australia and damaging the economies third biggest income earner education. He will scrap carbon emissions trading scheme, bringing uncertainty to those looking at investing in Australia.

An Abbott led government will be disasterous to Australias short and long term prosperity and race relations within the community. He's a coward and dinosaur.

reduce prices by repealing the CT??

On 1st July, the day when the carbon price, MRRT, tax cuts, etc, all came into effect who did SBS interview on their main evening news show? Tony Abbott.

Why would they interview Lying Tony rather than a government minister who would actually be able to speak about the measures introduced?

Beats me.

An interesting anticdote from yesterday in final cooments on insiders.

Tony went to the central coast wheelie bin manufacturer.
Complaining that his electricity bill will go up 185K.
He was asked by a reporter what his turnover was, answer 85million.
A point 0.217% rise.

Now how much will Tonys PPL put on his bottom line, a 1.5% levy, in other word 7.5 times as much.
