NDIS-Qld
Aug 1st, 2012 at 6:42am

Here we go.  A GetUp campaign for the disabled people of Qld. A much needed voice to fight for justice in a state that cares more about mining than it's people.

I suppose it's not in the interest of the Premier, since severely disabled people are very unlikely to pay taxes.

Get on board people of Queensland and any others that are interested in giving us a hand to get for the disabled people of Qld what the other states and territories have.

Please sign the GetUp campaign on behalf of your fellow Australians who desperately need to be covered by the NDIS.

Thanks guys and gals  Kiss

It is unconstitutional for the states to collect taxes, so their ability to pay taxes is irrelevant; much like your opinions.

Julia Gillard - twice selected, never elected.

We're still paying for the Whitlam Government.

Why are disabled Queenslanders wankers? Some of them are paraplegic so that part of their body doesn't even work.

You're all carrying on as if they currently get no services.

It's a great moralising wedge that Gillard has created. Anybody who questions the merits of the proposal gets hissed at.

if the money is funnelled through epople with a track record of caring (salvos, st vincent de paul, lifeline, keystone) i am for it.

if it is channelled though a new beauracracy it will of course be a disaster. the disabled are a vulnerable group, no doubt, much like the aborigines in remote australia. letting do gooder beauraucrats build a "disability industry' like the "aboriginal industry' will do nothing to benefit anyone except the suits who will count the beans.   really poor form that australians dont or wont help their fellow man and always want to subcontract this responsibility to government.

then again government seem to want to have ALL the power.
i used to be involved in taking disabled kids fishing.  now the rules and regulations and blue cards etc etc have squashed that.
a curse on the politicians. karma will see you taken down in the end for your hypocrisy.

Gilard has created? Even Abbott has admitted that we need to find a way to fund the NDIS , and he tries really hard to never agree with Gillard. .... just remember, your only a car crash or a fall away from needing it yourself
