Are sock puppets allowed on Ozpolitics?

I have noticed that longweekend58 is posting under
a new name of gold_medal.

He has failed to admit that he is using this new sock puppet.
He seems to have a gold medal in fallacious arguments
as can be seen from the FORD R.I.P. thread
where he has posted with both names & is
constantly using both the straw man fallacy & the argumentum ad hominem fallacy.

Are people allowed to do this on Ozpolitics?

I thought that freediver checks people's ISPs to see
that new members are not doing this?

There are also many other people who have multiple IDs.

I thought a sock was when someone used more than one ID at the same time..

if they change their ID whats it got to do with anyone else????????????????????????????????.

I changed mine a long time ago I got locked out of the system and the only way back was to get the powers to be to fix it for me..

its nothing to be ashamed of.. I would be surprised if longy changed his name as he couldnt careless what you lot think or dont think about him.

you are making accusations...isnt that also against FD rules.

You are not allowed to use multiple accounts to get around bans. Other than that, I don't really care. It is a pretty low thing to do, but I am not going sock hunting.

You shouldn't care either. I get accused of having socks too - Avram and several others have been accused of being my sock. It all starts to get a bit childish if you care that much.
