Another boat, why won't Tony give Labor a crack?
Aug 12th, 2012 at 3:51am

Is Tony letting down the people who voted for him to stop the boats?

Why is Tony siding with the Greens and putting the welfare of boat people above the wishes of the Australian people?

Hunt says Coalition accepts IPCC findings

"What does this mean? It means that we need to do practical things that actually reduce emissions."

Ummm, he isn't! Abbott is for offshore processing, whereas the Greens are for onshore processing. It's just coincidence that both parties happen to be against Gillard's Malaysia non-solution.

The West does want to get involved but China and Russia are in their way.
Its a civil war so we should mind our own business apart from humanitarian aid for civilians and looking after reffos

It's pretty difficult to determine the wishes of the people on this issue, SOB. If you listen to talkback it's all about stopping the boats. Although not that long ago there was a poll that suggested most Australians were in favour of on shore processing.

The significant difference being that they come with ID and therefore easy to assess as genuine refugees or not. So you have to ask why anyone with $10000 per head to spend on a leaky boat would choose that method over a safe clean plan flight in?

yep... ID.  Funny that.

give labor a crack   Wink Wink

from what i hear, the engine rooms in the patrol boats are developing some serious cracks (proabably a design flaw) and may need to be taken out of duty for a while.

that could cause some problems for all.
