I would like nothing better than to have a positive indicator that some nasty feral has ventured into my part of the world.

Believe it or not it is quite easy to spot a dole bludging feral based on appearance and you can always count on them to say something moronic to each other to confirm their status.

Being poor does not impede employment (I know from personal experience), being an unskilled moron does.

They have to prove their legal status and they have an opportunity to do that...but if you cannot prove that you are a citizen legally and articulate why you are a citizen and you are of age, and you are an outlaw then you can be deported...or exiled...there is no cart blanche entitlement to a presumption of citizenship....
