The bible says a lot of things but he isn't so entrenched in the kill people who worship other gods as he is the 'gods chosen people' thing and that god 'gave them Israel.
Based on what I've been told, Jews don't actually follow the Bible. They follow the "Oral Torah."

I think it depends whether he's violated one of the Three Oaths. Unless I'm mistaken, they're still in exile.
I think the idea of hell might be inaccurate too. Jews don't look forward to an afterlife. They anticipate a general resurrection (I mean the rabbinical ones, the majority).
Avram would be more concerned about his place in the world-to-come if he's a religious Jew. At this stage, I'm not even certain what kind of Jew Avram is at the moment. Ashkenazi, sephardi, mizrahi? Orthodox, Reform, Renewal, Reconstructionist, Hasidic? Secular, atheist or religious?
