We then pinpoint the mortar position and also the 2 machine gun positions.

We then radio for F-16 strikes.

Less than 10 mins later we have scrambled F-16 Strike Eagles from Ashdod and then fire direct to my and my comrade co-ordinates.

There is no atrocity.

That is all can be said on this matter now thank you.

Did you even check the buildings to see if ppl lived there? 2 large apartment buildings. . . . families and children prolly in there. You dont even feel any remorse. This is my problem with it is your attitude that they deserve it because they are in gaza.

Can you educate us then? How accurate are the bombs/missiles used? How and when do they detonate? How close to the target? What's stopping the bomb from falling to lower levels and causing damage under the target? How big is the explosion?

Any way of hitting the targets accurately with artillery and tanks? Are airstrikes really the only way?

They are cruise missiles.
They detonate on impact and are co-ordinated to pinpoint accuracy guided following striking from the F-16.

The F-16 takes a dive run from the sky to the target and lets the missile fire before quickly moving back up to a safe distance.
Then it repeats the exercise if necessary - but usually two F-16s come together so you hit both targets same time.

How would you remove those positions with no ability to bring a tank to the position and with open space to cover (across the machine gun crossing position) to reach the buildings cover?

You think Hamas place two machine guns and mortar in this position by accident?
