Mo' demands respect

This is the funniest Jesus and Muhammed cartoon I have seen. I suspect the original post got deleted so I thought it was worth giving it its own thread:

Frankly I think the whole thing was so badly handled by authorities, that they have in fact painted the picture, for more to follow.

I really hope that the  malicious few realise that there is nothing to gain, and everything to lose by following that path.
Let wiser heads prevail.

Emma, unfortunately the police are in a win-win situation. They know that by provoking the Muslims they will get a reaction (sadly) and they know the media (and therefore public opinion) will instantly side with them. And they will come out the heroes of the day.

You've got it figured, haven't you, the victim trope? no matter what happens, you think you have secured the injured party status. Politically speaking (sadly, eh?).

Hey  good cartoon. Smiley

FD continues with it-...

There is more to debate than everyone giving an empty headed opinion then moving on because it is all too complicated.

Is this another excuse for not thinking, not debating, just offering worthless opinions and moving on to the next worthless opinion?

Well  I'd say my opinion is just as worthless as yours. Grin
Seeing as you don't reply with anything but more repetitious questions questions and personal insult insult.   Smiley Grin you aren't debating either.
But I expect you'll deny that.... and call me more names.   Smiley

You are starting to be amusing.  Keep it up.

It's pretty strange isn't it? ..that 'Jesus & Mo' has been amusing people for such a long time now with it's sharp witted humor, and yet a boorish 2nd rate attempt at a movie gets all the accolades.

Maybe the bike racks just don't understand that they've been a source of laughter for centuries  Grin

only bullies demand respect. it has to be earned, it cannot be extracted. only fear can be extracted. what these muslims are demanding is that they should be feared because they are high-strung and volatile.  respectable and dangerous are not the same. acting scary and frightening people with violence and the threat of violence is their way of honouring their prophet. that's what mohammed did.

Good Idea Freediver.

Carry on Soren.

They are good cartoons.  Helps to come to grips with the absurdity, and reality.

We all seem to have been blessed by the Chinese saying

Sorry, no cartoons but more to do with the thread title.

As most would be aware there is currently a gathering at the U.N. to consider how to run/ruin our lives because the political class know better what is good for us than we do.

Among the happy band of attendees is the OIC (organisation of islamic conference), assorted African despots, dictators and of course the leftist loons who still persist with the idea that they can run anything.

The OIC and assorted other religious kooks will put forward a demand that blasphemy laws and punishment should subject every person on the planet.

Along with these kooks comes our own Bob Carr, you know, the idiot who virtually destroyed the NSW economy and is now, along with the rest of the federal fools making a basket case of our country.
Carr thinks a publiclly funded site for islamists to vent their spleen is something that every Australian should support.
So impressed with his idea, he is going to promote it on the world stage.

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/sydney-news/bob-carr-aims-to-deflect-musli...

The unfortunate reality is most Australians are so laid back, they are horozontal and even some have gone past the point to become inverted with their heads firmly planted in the sand whilst wondering why their backside is feeling pain. Take your pick of probable causes.

As the Arab spring is teetering on the edge of an Arab winter our own fools who promote a moral equivalence or even superiority are attempting through their own ignorance to drag the whole world into the winter of a new dark age.

For about a year now I have been watching Canada's Sunnews chanel and in particular, Michael Coren's show, The Arena.

Coren is an author and journalist who has spent some time reporting in the Middle East.

It is a great pity that even in very politically correct Canada they have a daily show as forthright as the Arena and we have nothing like it.

Since the assaination of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Coren has produced a number of shows discussing  the event.

The first was produced at the time of the assasination so some facts that are now known were not included and the producer of the irrelevant film turns out to be Egytian rather than Israeli.
The show never the less is very relevant.

The second show concerns the double standards of islamist protesters in Toronto at about the same time the fools in Sydney were doing something similar.

The last show concerns what is happening in the U.N. and the possibility of blasphemy laws that will affect us all.
At the end of the vid, peace and freedom is explained for the coming age. Shocked
Enjoy, while you can Roll Eyes

There is plenty more of Coren and the rest of the Sunnews team on youtube or their web site that I can commend to all.

Cheers.

Thanks, northy, good clips. Coren is excellent value. A pal of Mark Steyn's - that's all the introduction I need.

This whole 'insulting Islam' craparoo is such a load of nonsense. What it boils down to is that IF you engage with the topic of Islam and Mo, you either respect it/him (ie submit) or you insult it/him. Any non-respectful treatment of it/him -  criticism, questioning, doubting - is treated as disrespectful and insulting.

There is only one thing you are allowed to do with Islam - submit to it. Anything else, even ignoring its demands, will have dangerous consequences.  It's reverence or death.

This is why it is properly likened to Stalinism and Hitlerism. It is a totalitarian ideology that will tolerate only submission. And that's why it will all end in either the death of Islam or the subjugation of Islam by force, as it has happened before. Tears either way. There is no other kind of encounter with Islam. It is the empowering of the primitive and base with a promise of exalting it - heaven for jihadi murderers, for those who kill in the name of Islam and Mo.
(this is  a cross-post from the fascism forum as Abu Gobbels is likely to delete such non-submissive posts)

The Charlie Hebdo cartoon is a reference to a Jean-Luc Goddard movie with Brigitte Bardot. Le Mepris.

...

Et mes fesses, tu les aimes mes fesses ?

Et mes fesses, tu les aimes mes fesses ?

Needless to say, the cultural reference is completely lost on the Musulmaniacs.
