We need to test this.

Perhaps with a slingshot, a glove gun and a pea shooter.

As far as I know magpies are still a protected species. They are beautiful birds and one of my favourites. They're only aggressive during breeding season.

I like magpies too.  The one that lives in the tree outside my work (his name is razor) provides hours of fun by swooping unsuspecting passers by while I laugh at them from my office.

But Fagpies are a different story.

I must admit that I find it amusing to watch somebody else being swooped by a maggie, but there is one particular vicious one that ruins two of my prefered scenic bike riding routes.
It crashes into me and sometimes draws blood...I want to shoot the thing. Riding faster only makes things worse 'cause it stuffs up it's aim and makes it hit me in a worse place.

I know the things are only protecting their young, but there comes a time where infrastructure for humans should outweigh the need to protect a non-native creature that has outstayed it's welcome...just like the Collingwood footy club.

Jeez..if it were one human drawing blood upon another (especially on a regular basis), there would be hell to pay.

Obviously it's not funny being attacked, but they seem to prefer male blood. This is why so many of them are poisoned during mating season which is a pity because once they lose their fear for humans they stop attacking.

I've seen them kill other birds who encroach on their territory too, but there is another friendly and intelligent side to them.

What's the solution? We can't kill everything that hurts us and it's only for a short time each year. I've heard wearing sunglasses on top of your head is a good deterrant.

I turn the key in the lock. The door opens to a very annoyed bird.

Have you been in there all night?

Grow up silly little girl, you are of no consequence to anything much I reckon.

A question from you in another thread, "What do people who label me a "misogynist" do?"

Misogynist!

I have a life for a start, troll.

I test the .22 slug theory.

Yep it works, 1 dead magpie.

And 1 point off sanofi’s AGIQ score.

I look up into the deep azure sky and notice magpie circling. He stages an amazing set of aerial acrobatics. He is unhurt.
FriYAY has fibbed!

I walk over to troll FriYAY and kick him where his legs meet.

I notice that his colour changes to that of the sky, and he is having trouble breathing.

LOL, you tool. Cheesy

Your AGIQ score is in the negatives. Shocked

Now the annoying magpie is dead, perhaps you can borrow some points of it? Undecided
