I'm curious as to why single mothers get more of a hand out than the average individual dole bludger anyway. Don't they get extra free cash hand outs for their kids from the taxpayer anyway and extra fleecing of the father via child support agency whilst secretly shacked up with some other welfare cheat? Angry

Age 8? Why 8? They should be on the dole as soon as the youngest kid is in school which is normally 5. Sad

That's a bit different, the level of gearing on volatile and bad vehicles was not known.
They were uncovered in a perfect storm of conditions.

You couldn't have predicted the shortage of capital which caused Lehman and the like to fail.

'All' the jobs are being shovelled off to the Philippines.

Another major building company has reportedly gone bust today.

So that's, the single parent works all day for $80, and pays the best part of the $80 to the before and after school care centre.
Just enough left to buy takeaway for the family for dinner.

If they leave the kid/s home alone they'll become involved with the cops and DOCS.
