There have been massive population shifts in the last 80-100 years due to the two world wars and numerous local wars. Dozens of new countries emerged and many countries disappeared.

All countries have accepted these changes to the extent that there are no violent conflicts - except for the Muslim Arabs absolute refusal to cede territory to Jews.

This is not about a new country - there have been numerous new countries emerging from the ruins of various empires, Ottoman and others. This is about the Arabs refusing to let the Jews live on what the Arabs regarded as 'Muslim land'.
For Muslims, the rule is, 'once Muslim, always Muslim', even if the territory was conquered by force from non-Muslims. Conquest is only permitted by Muslims. reconquest from Muslims is not permitted by anyone.

The Jews, in effect, reconquered what they regard as their own homeland. The establishment of Israel doesn't differ, in its historical dimensions, from the Spanish re-conquest of the Iberian peninsula from the Muslims.

You can't think of any difference regarding Palestine?

I believe that the agreed borders are those after the 6 day war.
It's the fact Israel allows illegal settlements to be built then a few years down the track legitimizes them through time occupied.

It is like a ever increasing cancer.

You will find most people like me accept there should be no more settlements and just existing ones kept.
