The whole palestinian problem is best my complex arguments. Im not putting the Israeli-only position. I am however seeing that Israel sits in a place surrounded by implacable enemies swoen to its destruction that regularly invade. When the palestinians lob missles at civilian areas and suicide bomb school buses whatdo they really expect back in return? Yes, their stuation is difficult but they are mostly the architects of their own trouble. They were offered a single separate state but refused. They have been granted land which they literally polluted. (they were given gaza and instead of maintaining their sewerage works they let them break down and refused israeli offers to fix them. now they pump serage into the groundwater which is now destroyed. funnily enough, they are now short of water). They elect a terrorist group as government.

and on and on it goes. We have zero idea what it is like to live under constant threat and regular attack.  I dont think we can easily cast criticisms to either side without a better understanding.
