Well, a cultural Paki. It's a sort of an honourary award, I think. Like a certificate in Post-Colonial Studies from the Bradford Poly.

The old boy's much more learned. He's read a book on Freud and Man's Soul. The old boy is a Freud-fancier. I'm just a browser. My interest in stool, for example, is not nearly as well-cultivated. I managed to pass through the anal stage relatively unscathed.

The old boy, however - let's just say he has a keen interest in all matters scatalogical.

In spiritual matters Light is ahead of us all but some of his other theories leave much doubt in me.

It would be just as pointless to say Descartes was "wrong". Or David Hume or John Locke or John Stuart-Mill or Charles Darwin. These thinkers have shaped Western thought. They have influenced what is actually possible to think or say.
