SPOT,
We don't need to protect ourselves from 'guns'.
We need to protect ourselves from, THE CRIMINALLY INSANE.[Many of whom, are those persons who want to avoid responsibility, for the consequences of their own 'poor' choices.]
Q.
And how can that be best accomplished ?
A.
By [as much as is possible] seeking to separate ourselves from those who are criminally insane.
And by seeking to separate those who are criminally insane, from ourselves.
+++
It would be totally moral, to let [to compel!] the criminally insane, live among their own,
...the criminally insane.
And to let those who are peaceable and law abiding, live among those who are peaceable and law abiding. And you may, or may not be aware of it, but one of those two 'situations' is [essentially] going to be our own fate.
In our own choices [in our 'journey' here], everyday, we are 'confirming' our choice, to either live in the 'light, or, to be compelled to live in the 'darkness' [...with those others who also love the 'darkness'].
God is our creator, and God's message to mankind, has ALWAYS been, that we should,
1/ seek to please our God,
2/ and
we should seek to discern between good, and evil [and that we should separate 'the precious from the vile'].
Don't let people try to tell you that 'discrimination' is a social crime. [ <--- that comes from SATAN's camp.]
The
ABILITY to separate 'the precious from the vile', is a virtue which God appreciates.

A real beacon to the world.
