Even for Gillard's low standards, I was shocked when she said "My father did not die of shame", when the topic wasn't even about him. Pulls the sympathy card, pulls the sex card, pulls the victim card, does Gillard. Because we all know that she can't pull the credibility card, the competency card, or the honesty card.

Debatable. I know many women who despise Gillard. If you want some public examples, excluding Coalition pollies, just see what Miranda Devine, Janet Albrechtsen, Prue MacSween and Niki Savva have to say about her.
