Oh by the way..Ive been chatting to you fellas for around 8 yrs now and theres been two federal elections in that time of which you have predicted wrongly both times.
Granted you have to get it right sooner or later but your record for predicting the demise of the federal Labor Party has been pretty poor up to now.

I've predicted correctly once.

I got the last one wrong because I assumed Gillard was telling the truth when she said

(1) There will be no carbon tax....
(2) There will be a Budget surplus in 2012/13 no ifs no buts

Actually right up to the elections you said the Libs would romp it in and when they didnt you disappeared for 6mths licking your wounds while Longy, Cods and the others stuck around arguing their cases.
You do have something in common with Abbott..when the going gets tough you disappear and let others do the work.

you just make this stuff up as you go along. you used to be a credible poster but now you just lie and really not much else.

for the record, i predicted a very close result (how surprising since everyone else did) and hoped for a close abbot victory. I then returned to debate it a few days later.

some scientist you are... all you do now is make stuff up and lie about it. but of course... you are an AGW disciple. they ALL do that.

Point out all the lies in that post..coz there is not one.
If your praising Maqqa for doing a runner after every election loss then you're crazier than I thought.
I was actually giving you and Cods way more credit than Maqqas ever given either of you...in case you haven't noticed he thinks he is way superior to either of you despite you guys sticking around and giving as good as you get no matter the circumstance

I've thought all along that Gillard would hold off until the last possible date - November 30, 2013.

That's fine by me, I can wait. A maximum of 11 months to this day, and Labor will be out. This next time next year, we will have a Coalition, Abbott-led government, and nothing could be better.

She will not last, but if she does, labor are dumber and more ideologically driven now then any time I can remember. They would be a mirror to the greens. The AWU fraud should get rid of her out of principle next year when the heat gets put back on, but we will see how ideological labor have become.

The problem is though, progs, is that Labor is now devoid of any principles at all. Its only care is power at any cost.

to be fair, i thought your post was in reference to me. I need new glasses i think (or more sleep).

my assessment of you as being now little more than a liar remains. it is just this particular example was incorrect. there are dozens more to use however.

Yes we see that and it is unfortunate. The more push, the more evidence, the more outrage come next year about the AWU, we will see just how bad labor are.

Carbon tax, surplus, AWU, Thomson, Slipper, endless boats - great record. Campaign should be easy.

Labor have long conned the Aust voters into judging the LIBs by a higher standard than it should apply to the ALP

But Labor is changing tact - it is trying to convince voters that the severity of a LIB event is the same as a Labor event

For example - lying about the carbon tax is the same severity as Abbott allegedly punching a way

Or if they don't have anything on Abbott - make it up.

If enough people say Abbott is misogynist then it would stick.

All liberals need is one good/great compelling, spells everything out advert and they are home and hosed on the biggest election win ever.

Come up with an advert that is half good, not compelling and doesnt piece it all together and they will get a win.

Labor on the other hand can only come up with a grubby advert as if to gain them something and they lose. By how much depends on liberals advert and the loss could be worse depending on how grubby labor's are.
