Ah, the old Muselmen Christmas story. Why'd you change the last line, Athos? The article actually reads:
"It is not known, at present, whether the people detained in the raid were released or if they will face further prosecution."
Your quote reads:
"It is not known, at present, whether the people detained will face death penalty."
The article contains no news of an arrest, a prosecution, or an imprisonment. I've Googled and found nothing more than this article.
You know what I think? Given they were with diplomats, the Saudi government would have discretely told the religious police to let them go and stop wasting everybody's time.
I could be wrong, of course, but it makes a lot more sense than facing the death penalty.
People wonder how the media can be so sloppy, and here it is in black and white. It's not sloppiness, it's blatant manipulation and re-writing the facts.
If you've got an agenda, no problem. Make the agenda fit the facts - not the other way around.
It was actually combination from more than one world media articles. You can go on the net and find it out, anyhow Saudis are famous for easily chopping heads and arms.
The fact is that majority of European countries will become Muslim states in about 15 years time. The same destiny waits for Australia if it continues with such tolerant policy towards Muslims.
One way to stop it is to condition Muslim migrants to convert, preferably in Christianity, before they migrate to other countries, including uncompromising stands against barbaric Muslim practices.
The same as Saudi Arabia has towards civilized people.
