Numbers that matter during their leadership

Brendan Nelson
Preferred PM - 7%
2PP - 37/63

Malcolm Turnbull
Preferred PM - 10%
2PP - 42/58

was disposed off because he support a carbon tax with Rudd

Rudd was also knifed for similar reasons

Tony Abbott
Preferred PM - 33%
2PP - 54/46

You you guys want the LIBs to go back to Turnbull??  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Lol
Rudd was the most popular PM as far as polls go, BAR NONE, highest PM numbers throughout the Turnbull and Nelson leaderships. Turnbull only lost by one vote in the party room, phony tony was the dummy candidate that even he didn't think would win.
The most telling story is, the conga line of morons say Gillard is hated yet Gillard sh it's all over phony tony in popular stakes. Grin Grin Grin

I actually have a lot of confidence in Turnbull. Besides Hewson he is about the only Liberal in which I've had some confidence that he might add something constructive to the country.

If you think Phony Tony is unpopular now just wait until he becomes PM and starts slashing public education and health.
We certainly wont have a boat person problem anymore because Afghanistan will look good compared to Tony Abbotts Australia  Grin

Brendad Nelson was the best of them by a mile.

He was a bit too young and inexperienced and put into the job at the worst possible time. His numbers were never a reflection on him just the circumstances.

He should have stayed, the experience he gained would have put him in a great position next time around, he was the only quality option for the future they had.

What in particular did you like about Nelson. I don't really have any sort of lasting impression.

Given all the posts - it goes to prove my point

Regardless if the overwhelming evidence that Abbott has done a better job than his predecessors - you guys will pick a guy that gives the Labor party the best chance to win at the next election

Therefore don't ask for evidence when you will only ignore it because it does not support your argument
