Baillieu goverment faces a drubbing: poll

The Victorian government is facing a drubbing from voters, the latest Newspoll suggests.    

The poll has Labor with a commanding 55-45 lead over the coalition on a two-party preferred basis, the same result as two months ago.

The coalition's primary vote was down a point to 36 per cent, and while Labor's actually fell three points to 38 per cent, it was offset by a rise in the Greens' popularity.    

Premier Ted Baillieu's net satisfaction rating slid to minus 15, one of the worst results for a leader in the past two decades, while Opposition Leader Daniel Andrews improved his standing to minus six, his highest standing since the 2010 state election.

In the poll, published in The Australian on Friday, Mr Andrews also maintained his nine-point lead over Mr Baillieu in the question of preferred premier.   

The next state election is due in November next year.

may as well as the greens wont get any death duties from the sick and poor.. so they arent worth anything.so lets get rid of them......

they are only worth a vote..and TAXES are for more important.

The Conservative state govts are Federal Labors best asset next to the negativity and misogyny of Phony Tony and his band of scumbag political assassins.
I wonder what sort of deviant perverts he's gonna dig up this year to slander members of the Labor Party ...hey maybe he can get the Lawyer who defended the Anita Cobby murdering gang rapists to lecture Julia on morals

I rather like some of their policies but I can not say that I have ever seen a green Poli who looked good.
