An international think tank, which has ranked the world's top 80 countries, has named Australia as the second-best place on earth to be born.

lol an Intl THINK TANK.... what the hells that when its out???? as its Itnl you can bet we pay a million or 3 to belong to it..

its cool we can still pay the $8bn a year interest on our debts..as that is still rising..

and the people smugglers will be ecstatic telling their customers they have the second best destination in the world..

Thats ok..Abbott will make things so bad in this country for everyone but Twiggy and Gina that reffos will prefer to be tortured and murdered in Afghanistan and Iraq than escape on a boat to come here
In fact we just may find Aussies leaving this country in droves when our economy collapses under Abbotts reign

Think tanks are merely groups of intellectuals who get together to discuss various topics and look for solutions to various problems ... you don't pay to belong to it . There are thousands of think tanks out there covering a wide range of topics ... one thing you can be sure of Cods, they're all smarter than you'll ever be.

Not sure how you manage to tie in people smugglers to his topic, but it's typical of you ... instead of being proud of the result as an Australian, you look for a negative.

There does seem to be a bad habit amongst this countries neo cons of talking down Australia.
Could it be the constant barrage of negativity from their leaders which they have used to good effect to prop up their own taxpayer funded jobs?
If anyone saw the usual SBS doco on Adolf the Crazy last night they may have noticed that he used to same tactics to rise to power and then to control the masses..Its pretty obvious who the hard line nationalists within the Liberal and National Parties and their puppet Phony Tony stole their strategies from Cheesy

All we need is Phony Tony to ride into parliament on a white stallion to the rapturous strains of Wagner and the picture will be complete
