Well done! with those bible quotes!       Wink

I must say that he has an encyclopedic knowledge of how to misinterpret the Bible, but that's not detracting from your own ability to quote the Qu'ran of course.

so those quotes in the bible is saying the complete opposite that you should be greedy and hoard as much as you can and not give any of it away even if it could save a life ?

Nail,

Then again Nail,
somehow this thread has turned into what one misguided christian - namely longweekend has done
& in no way represents the majority of Christians.

Let's hear what other christians they have to say about devils, witches & angels.

the problem is that your pitifiul understanding of both the bible and the english language means you dont really know the difference between saving and hoarding and investmen vs greed. In summary, you are a very stupid person.

so investing it is more important than giving what they have collected which could mean the difference between life and death for someone living on the street or someone dying from hunger.

yep makes perfect sense to label desperately needed donations as an investment so they don't have to dole it out Sad

and when is enough interest collected before they start doling it out or do they wait for the bank to collapse ?

Jesus preached love and forgiveness, some of his last words as he was sacrificed on the Cross were, "forgive them father for they know not what they do."

Increasingly I have asked God to enter my life. I have been answered by an inner strength which has helped me cope with a year of personal crisis.

Religion is a personal thing. I wouldn't criticise anyone for their beliefs, all I can say is that if you ask Christ for help, he will provide.

So are you saying it is more important to invest the donations than to pass them on and save lives because it is quite clear the bible does NOT say that ? And when has the investment made enough. ? How many lives have to be sacrificed before they have made enough or lost the lot ?

So when the bible says to plunder a whole village nobody is allowed to question or criticize it because it's your personal belief Grin

Nice graphic SOB. Perhaps you should heed your own advice. I have not seen anyone here try to do this as much as you.

But I still haven't seen you post a rational response to the fact that religious people donate more of their time and money to charity than atheists.

Yes, so the story goes, but wasn't that supposed to be an unconditional love and forgiveness?

The problem being that a shitload of conditions seem to have been put on that love and forgiveness by the vast bulk of self professed "Christians" over the past millennia or two.

But I guess you'll find a bucketload of Christians who will argue that he didn't mean unconditional love and forgiveness at all.

the reason that you are poor and living in a one-room renter is exceedingly obvious.  you understand not one jot of the concept of responsible financial management. You spend today and complain tomorrow that you have nothing. that is why better managers than you (most people) actively save and invest for tomorrows expenses.
