Its not a case of team colours cheering amico.
Craig Thomson is a prime example - not to mention the numerous Labor politicians involved in rape accusations, embezzlement and sexual assault cases - that it is about each individual case.

Slipper is disgusting. He should be ashamed of his behaviour which so morally wrong on so many levels.

I hold this opinion irrelevant of his political party and people like you need to be a bit more mature and grown up to not turn it into us v them politics.
That helps nobody and just makes you look like a biased moron.

Which behaviour was wrong?

Who are the labour pollies with rape accusations?

I think it is reasonably clear that Slipper may not be the most upright politician we have had.

It seems to me that almost every term we have half a dozen politicians caught out rorting benefits, they are simply asked to pay it back and that is it.

In my memory this type of thing has never been actioned by the AFP to the stage of a court case and coincidentally it is a case with a hung parliament where there is political gain to be had.

And I thought Pansi and Miss Borg weren't  the brightest on here.

You are insinuating the Federal Police are bringing charges to bring Gillard down.

Jesus now I have heard it all.

I do know it is hard for you but there is a difference from being accused and being found guilty and doing gaol time.

Judging by a post from you last week you seem to find rape trivial. That seems to be the ALP mantra.

The accusations against Abbott was dismissed - but according to leftards

(1) if it's a LIB person then accusation is good enough to be guilty

(2) when all facts are assess and it was dismissed then you are still guilty

(3) if it's a Labor person or their supporters then you are assumed innocent for life

??????  Not sure what I posted but defiantly not true ?????

I do know it is hard for you but there is a difference from being accused and being found guilty and doing gaol time.

The situation with Theo was the same as with Abbott - the charge was thrown out and never went to trial, the Lady who complained has been found guilty of defamation.

My question stands - are you happy to hold Abbott to the same standard?

THe facts were not assessed on Abbott's indecent assault charge.  The case was dismissed.  Several witesses saw Abbott touch the victim.  One wonders why he can't keep his hands to himself

Abbott: I was charged with indecent assault
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2004/07/17/1089694611809.html

However, there were 3 witnesses to Abbott thowing a punch at a woman's head.  He was not charged for that, as he was for indecent assault - but it does tell us quite a bit about his character I think.  He was also chaged and found guilty of damaging public property - although no conviction was recorded.  No wonder the Libs are desperately wheeling out any female they can find to try to talk him up.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm and by the same token

gillard in a 4 year relationship with guy she helped..[even though young and naive] gain access to hundreds of thousands of dollars of other peoples money????..

even I would have questioned his need to have

Power of Attorney????

why??? I would have asked him do you need that?.. shouldnt a slush fund for the UNION have

more than one signature to its accounts...

shouldnt any prudent lawyer have questioned the need for that????????????????.

at least I would have asked that even if I was young and naive...

but its okay you have so many excuses for why gillard did or didnt do when she was young and naive... yet abbott isnt accorded any of those things..

can you tell me what public property he was found guilty of damaging.. and was he young and naive when this took place... or was he in his 30s???

you keep going back years then whingeing when we talk about gillard communist affiliations.. and background in corruption for the Unions..with her old lover in crime ... married lover at that.

(1) There are plenty of innuendos - but there are no Affidavits or signed statements

(2) You make a comment that he was not charge - but IT says alot about Abbott. I am assuming the word "IT" refers to "THE EVENT". Because he was not charged - THE EVENT did not take place

(3) All this happened when he was 20 years old and you guys hold him more culpable and responsible than a 35 years old lawyer who was acting within the fiduciary and professional responsibility

Sounds pretty stupid doesnt it. A person almost twice his age. A lawyer. A partner even. Contrast that with a 20 year old wannabe something, against all kinds of imature wannabes of something. If worlds dont collide in those years, there is something wrong.

If a 35 year old patner in a law firm helps a boyfriend setup a secret association, using the name of a union to look part of that union and then hundreds of thousands of dollars are defrauded through that association and the boyfriend gives you the rich lifestyle while you seem to be distanced from the source of the money and knowing you will marry that man one day (until it all fell to crap). Now thats another thing entirely.

we could go on all day reminding them.. of the ones they prefer to forget...

it never fails to amaze me how they can pretend this never happened..its diabolical. to say the least and yet not one on here ever owns it..

they spread malicious lies about Abbott..[read adel].. god only knows what they had when Howard was PM...

if that women who claims Abbott sexually assaulted her had something she would do something about it now...

as far as I know there is no time frame on sexual cases...well judging by the Church... and now the Royal Commission...

and rightly so...if she has a case bring it on..

same with a Royal into AWU bring it on.. lets clear it up and we can move on..and stop this crap.

I am all for it... but never hear of anyone else saying the same thing..
