Gee you ppl have short memories. How about howards "sedition" laws?

SOB

The Bill was introduced on 3 November and passed into law on 6 December 2005 after government amendments adding some protection for the reporting of news and matters of public interest were introduced in response to community pressure. The changed laws are to be reviewed in 2006.

do you actually know what sedition means???

or are you in favor of Islamic Imams directly inciting their followers into hate campaigns?.. against so called infidels..

I guess seeing a 4 yr old wave a banner saying cut off their heads..... in Australia

was ok with you.

Free speech is free speech. Do you remember the 2 guys that got arrested for saying in a pub that howard (or somebody) "needed shooting"?

They also would have been arrested if they said Miss Borg needed shooting. Hmm, there is an idea.

Personally, I really do hope that useless Roxon creature loses her seat next election.

She does NOT deserve re-election.

I had the impression you were a Labor supporter Kat. As a minister, she has to be one of the more astute ones they've got, even if she is a comrade.

I WAS, yes. For many years.

But that was before this shower got their hands on the reins of power.

They didn't get my vote last election, and they've done nothing to make that change.

Their obsession with micro-managing everyone's lives with legislation totally sickens me.

That is good. One of many reasons, but probably the most important reason of all. Forget the debt. Forget the policies on the run. Forget the well intensioned that always make you pay big time through incompetence.

You want to control every aspect of our lives, then you are going to have to sit in the corner with no freinds until you figure out it is the wrong thing to do.

I am monitoring closely all public figures and collecting evidence for hate crimes and attempting to punish the poor for economic problems not of their doing...just so you know you are being watched if you are in a public position and have evil designs on the poor and marginalized...You will be held accountable for what you say and do.
