There's definitely been a feminisation or emasculation project going on the past few decades. Masculinity has been thoroughly degraded by Cultural Marxists. Its great success has been to paint masculinity as nothing but raw aggression, while ignoring masculinity's other areas like the will to self-discipline and will to self-responsibility. By painting masculinity as something that leads to murder, racism, sexism, slavery, imperialism, rape etc etc (rather than showing how it lead to almost every advance made in the arts and sciences), they have tried, and have been successful in many areas, to reduce men to domesticated house pets.
I think men have to be careful, though, when they try and forge their way out of this labyrinth of self-flagellation. There is the tendency to embrace raw force and start beating the sh*t out of things (think Fight Club) as a way of re-embracing masculine principles. I would suggest that even courses be taught (whether publicly or privately funded, or done through charity) on what masculinity is and how to re-embrace it gracefully. Because, I believe that sublimation is the key masculine tool. Men have achieved so much by sublimating their aggression into their hobbies, tasks, and goals. Such a course would be one in how to control and re-take their own souls, rather than a course based purely around lambasting 'power structures.' Because, I believe the major difference between feminism and masculinity is that the former posits blame for their condition on the 'other,' whereas the latter own their condition and then take on the self-responsibility to change it.
In the long run, masculinity in society would re-emerge when the men have actually been turned back into men, rather than doing the feminist approach of legislating for change then magically expecting there to be change.
i dont know if its just feminisation. theres a lot of guys out there - betas and the omegas, who are unattractive to women. connecting them with women and getting them mates helps social cohesion/improves happiness. male superiority, legislatively and socially, was an aid to working around the natural unattractiveness of betas/omegas in the past. female empowerment in employment has meant women are less dependent upon men for their livelihoods, reducing the demand for beta male providers and allowing them to attempt to pursue alphas while still having the resources needed to live. the worst problem is the denial of sexual access to omegas, who are bombs just waiting to go off, as wesley himself has pointed out.
i'm starting to understand the islamic worlds take on gender relations a lot more clearly now.
