betas are struggling, but they at the end of the day will (often begrudgingly) find a woman they can settle with. its the omegas who are *really* getting screwed by feminism.

yeah, but solid definitions are so hard to come by.  Betas will find a wife (who will probably divorce them and take the loot) and they'll live a generally content, albeit slightly unhappy and unfulfilling life, but nothing so bad they need to shoot up a school.

It is the omegas that are the real poor sods. Maybe the feminists could do something to help them considering they like to help the 'oppressed'? Not bloody likely.

There's definitely been a feminisation or emasculation project going on the past few decades. Masculinity has been thoroughly degraded by Cultural Marxists. Its great success has been to paint masculinity as nothing but raw aggression, while ignoring masculinity's other areas like the will to self-discipline and will to self-responsibility. By painting masculinity as something that leads to murder, racism, sexism, slavery, imperialism, rape etc etc (rather than showing how it lead to almost every advance made in the arts and sciences), they have tried, and have been successful in many areas, to reduce men to domesticated house pets.

I think men have to be careful, though, when they try and forge their way out of this labyrinth of self-flagellation. There is the tendency to embrace raw force and start beating the sh*t out of things (think Fight Club) as a way of re-embracing masculine principles. I would suggest that even courses be taught (whether publicly or privately funded, or done through charity) on what masculinity is and how to re-embrace it gracefully. Because, I believe that sublimation is the key masculine tool. Men have achieved so much by sublimating their aggression into their hobbies, tasks, and goals. Such a course would be one in how to control and re-take their own souls, rather than a course based purely around lambasting 'power structures.' Because, I believe the major difference between feminism and masculinity is that the former posits blame for their condition on the 'other,' whereas the latter own their condition and then take on the self-responsibility to change it.

In the long run, masculinity in society would re-emerge when the men have actually been turned back into men, rather than doing the feminist approach of legislating for change then magically expecting there to be change.

i dont know if its just feminisation. theres a lot of guys out there - betas and the omegas, who are unattractive to women. connecting them with women and getting them mates helps social cohesion/improves happiness. male superiority, legislatively and socially, was an aid to working around the natural unattractiveness of betas/omegas in the past. female empowerment in employment has meant women are less dependent upon men for their livelihoods, reducing the demand for beta male providers and allowing them to attempt to pursue alphas while still having the resources needed to live. the worst problem is the denial of sexual access to omegas, who are bombs just waiting to go off, as wesley himself has pointed out.

i'm starting to understand the islamic worlds take on gender relations a lot more clearly now.

You are talking about forcing them to marry him though. Is that how it happened for you? I cant imagine any other way any woman would marry you. Was your marriage arranged?

I really believe men don't really need women that much. A bloke needs to clean his pipes out every now and again if you know what I mean. I nice meal when he comes home from work is great too. But having a whinging missus is a real pain in the ass. Kids are a pain in the ass too. Set me up in a big house with a huge screened TV , a stereo and guitar and an asian nurse a couple of times a week and I'm right to go. Anybody else have any thoughts on the issue?

mist, jc and rob,  re men reclaiming their masculinity.

a mob used to run 'wild man " weekends on a farm not far from me on the weekend.
i never really knew what they were up to but there was a lot of drumming and running around the campfire naked , followed by burial in the dirt (some sort of back to earth experience).
is this sort of stuff , in any way legit, or just new age rubbish  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

my daughters thought it was hilarious , so id dont know if it impresses the ladies

Just like a women needs a man like fish need a bicycle?

Following that sentiment didn't make the ladies happy, so I don't think it's ideal for men either.  We all need each other to play their part.

I'd put it in the new age rubbish bin, but it does show that males are unfulfilled - they yearn for something, but they're just not sure what.

I suppose you are right Rob. There's a definate wedge between many men and women these days. It's a pity.

A great pity indeed.  Men and Women have always had their own little niches, spaces and roles, and we got along alright.  Not perfectly, but alright.  But now we're all being thrown in together and homogenised under the banner of "equality" and it's got us at each others throats.

Yeah so you decided to go obscure rather than deal with the suffering you were saying you want for women with forced marriages.
