A great pity indeed. Men and Women have always had their own little niches, spaces and roles, and we got along alright. Not perfectly, but alright. But now we're all being thrown in together and homogenised under the banner of "equality" and it's got us at each others throats.

Maybe you because you like your women in burkas but the rest of us get along fine.

I tend to agree. It's not for everybody.
Maybe for somebody spectacular it might be worth it, but let's face it, both men and women are generally not very sexually attractive to each other anymore.
If you keep yourself physically fit, then I think at the very least, a decent shaped bum is deserved.

The advantages of not marrying for men are greater, IMO, in that there are far more things besides relationships that we find interesting. Women are generally fairly limited in that department.

Some men (quite a lot) just go through the motions of getting married into what will most probably end up being a waste of time and effort because they've been told that this is what society expects of them.

Marriage is absolutely a raw deal for men, so it's funny that feminidiots still talk about it as O-pression. Do they not ever stop to ask themselves "If it' so O-pressive why is it always the woman who pushes for it?" Every man I know, including myself only put a ring on that finger because of prolonged subtle and not-so-subtle pressure from the missus. It's like the most high pressure salesperson you've ever met, talking you into making the most costly deal of your life.

But, we still all need to get along somewhat. The current, western model of marriage isn't it, but the future of the human race depends on some kind of arrangement between us. But that arrangement has to be worked out organically, at the grass roots level, because It's ideological meddling that's buggered it up.
