Lutheran suburbs? Well, there are a few near the old boy’s church.

They don’t preach carpet-bombing, by the way. That’s the beauty of Lutheranism. You get to make things up - unlike your Muselman who’s just there to follow the example of their prophet. The Lutherans don’t have to follow anyone. In fact, most of them are atheists.

They just go to church to meet with other Scandinavian and Swiss ghetto-dwellers. Oh, and to sample the old boy’s marvellous array of cheeses.

The old boy’s thinking of organising a fondue party as a church fundraiser. The women want to sponsor a child in Afghanistan.

The old boy knows how to avoid the carpet-bombing topic in polite company. There will be lots of shnapps and jolly back slapping. The old boy will wrestle with the wife over his choice of yodelling records versus the Abba all the gals want to hear.

In the end, the men will end up with their pipes, stroking their beards on the front verandah listening to the old boy rattle on about his favourite subject.

Heaven.

Not that there’s anything wrong with it, Bobbie. We wouldn’t want to be seen as homophobic like those awful Iranian Muselmen FD and everyone else complains about.

Now let’s see. There’s Paddington, Darlinghurst, the rather Bohemian Potts Point. The notorious "pink triangle" bordered by Newtown, St Peters and Erskineville. Divisive.

Now. Lutheran suburbs. Can anyone think of any? There’s that German enclave in Fairfield. I’m not sure if they’re Catholics or Protestants. Maybe they have s street that divides them the way Honky’s neighbourhood deals with its c00ns.
