Carr: a King in Grass Castles.
Jan 15th, 2013 at 10:04am

Bob Carr, the pseudo-intellectual & elder statesman, prided himself on creating more national parks in NSW than anybody else.
They are everywhere. Drive round the corner and you'll be in one.
Warrumbungle where a fire has originated destroying 33 homes so far is not one created by him. But once again we see the result of a policy of institutional opposition to more than token fire hazard reduction by the environmentalists in charge of national parks.
In Tasmania, the premier Lara Giddings is lying and obfuscating in denial of a policy of deliberate roadblocking of hazard reduction, even after the destruction of more than 100 homes. Just because she depends on Green votes.

We allow these environmental crazies to run our lives at our peril, whether it's in relation to bushfires, climate or anything else at all.

it stands to reason... we get told we are the cause of GW yet when sensible people insist on back burning.. they oppose it.. even though our environment thrives on fire.. we are not allowed to do that...seems odd to me..

it will be the same thing with our oceans..stop the fishing and in come the sharks...

then they want to go on a kill the shark hunt if one of them decides to act natural..and eat anything thats in the ocean...again seems odd to me.

perhaps if they talked about being efficient and effective..instead of banning... it might work.
