May not be racist, I'd agree with that. But the problem is no MP should ever post inflammatory comments about an issue as it encourages loonies with less sense. Instead his clarification was what should've been the OP.

I wonder if he's ever done a decent day's work outside of his cushy little job as a parliamentary secretary doing nothing.

BULLY MISSED THE POINT. He has an opinion, and his clarification has THE SAME MEANING. It's just the way he needs to say it. He is a public official. There is no place for this type of "Oh look at this guy who doesn't work what a bugger bludger" type of comments from public officials.

Mobs tearing up Logan tonight. Did any of them do a day's work today, or was it business as usual and welfare on tap?

To clarify: Working together to resolve these riots the priority. Training and a chance for jobs are key.

SAME MEANING. Either way you look at it he is saying "this wouldn't happen if these people had a job." and he has a point. BUT THERE IS A WAY TO MAKE THIS POINT. ONE YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND WITH YOUR BULLYING WAYS.

So, to elaborate, when someone has a go at bludgers in a community/suburb/group that happens to be dominantly white, can the racist tag be pulled out? Or should we be literalists and just read it as a go at bludgers?
