Very sad - there can be no doubt that many war crimes were committed in Vietnam.

True, there were war crimes committed in the Vietnam War....BUT the war itself wasn't one of them..

War is never a crime.

You’re not wrong there, son. If it wasn’t for war, blokes like me and the Light would have been out of a job in our day.

But war is sometimes a crime. The interim Iraqi government convicted Saddam with the illegal invasion of Kuwait, so it’s possible.

It just depends on who gets you for it.

You? You’re just a mincing old Kraut tart. Old pricks like you are a disgrace to the memory of WWII veterans. The only thing you’ve hunted down is your false teeth to smile at the neighbour’s kiddies when they come home from school. Guten arbend, meine kinder.

And no, they don’t want to see the photos of you in your assistant station master’s uniform. Everybody knows you’re an old fraud.

The only person I’m engaging on the subject of Nam is the only other poster here who was there. What were you, Light? Gunner?

Karnal, the likelihood you were there is about the same as I was there.
Which is 0%.

Its offensive to soldiers who were to carry on your wind-up campaign on here by now pretending to be John Rambo.

Don't disagree bigol.
However I imagine 1968 - 1975 it wouldn't be as pleasant.

Not exactly Majorca.
