I wonder why that is. Maybe it's got something to do with having been there, I don't know.

Why did you change this post Karnal?

It's not like you to have any qualms about lying.

You're right. I have no qualms at all about my time in Nam.

I changed it to make my point. Don't like what I post, son? Want to report it to the moderator?

why dont you step out of character and post directly and understandably.

Too much trouble. To do that I'd need to get rid of this id and sign up under a different name.

A girl running away after being burnt by napalm?

That is the most famous photo from the whole Vietnam war.

It's not like you to have a point either.

I don't. My posts are about the alliteration.

you are sounding like a petulant little child who thinks because he VISITED 'nam' at some stage he can vent his spleen on here in typical incomprehensible fashion. if you have something to say then say it - clearly. if not. shut up about it.

Forty years ago a single photograph of a nine-year-old girl, her body scarred by napalm, helped swell opposition to
the Vietnam war.

The US-made product, a thickening agent mixed with petroleum or other fuel, and reaching temperatures of 1,200
degrees Celcius, was used as a weapon during the war.

The Associated Press photograph of Kim Phuc Phan Ti, who became known as the 'napalm girl' showed how the chemical burned its victims to the bone.

Kim survived and, still bearing the scars of war, she now resides near Toronto where she is a UNESCO ambassador
and an activist for the youngest victims of wars.

Al Jazeera's Daniel Lak reports from Toronto.

you are too stupid to see the difference. if that photo were taken today, the photographer would have to destroy it. you just dont see how flashing a girls distressed naked body all over the internet is not an inherently evil thing. and remember that a lot of official child porn predates this picture.
