you have sight problems there are no fallen power lines in the shot?

Two points.

1: I didn't say that.

2; another Miss Borg response.

I never said you did.

You certainly implied that by including it with my comments.

You can also add to the list that Rudd wasn't wearing chainsaw chaps to protect his legs...

Yes he messed up in all aspects of safety apparel. I hate chain saws and rarely use mine.

Just as well as you have NFI.

I included a list of dumb comments made on the thread, didn't care who made them.

DNA, you have no bloody idea.

"You mean it is in neutral likely because some idiot is pointing a camera at him."

Since when to chainsaws have gears?
There is a clutch mechanism which engages the drive for the chain, only 1 gear typically but it is not always engaged, without a drive gear it wouldn't go.

Fair dinkum.

Can't see a cordless drill chopping your leg off.

If there is power behind that beading you could have fried Abbott on the menu.

More NFI from DNA. There is no bloody gear box so there is no bloody neutral.

"only one gear typically" Jesus DNA how do you come up with that crap? Chainsaws are direct drive from the motor via a sprocket (NOT A GEAR) with a centrifugal clutch.

Many a chainsaw on idle will have chain creep.

Do you really think there would be live electrical wires behind that board DNA?

drive from the motor via a sprocket (NOT A GEAR)

You are correct even though it is functionally the same - a sprocket is basically a gear which drives a chain, the device was still in a non drive position

You are to one who made the comment that :Note: Motor running, chain not turning,(you can count the teeth on the chain) no sawdust coming from chain

There is no bloody gear box so there is no bloody neutral.

I'm going to get my chain saw and find the sprocket box? I think you are being a bit pedantic - you knew what I meant.

I would guess that based on the look on his face and the fact that the chain isn't turning , there's a good chance the chain has jambed .... of course it could also just be posing for the camera.

...

How about we apply the same critical analysis here as KT did on the Rudd work.

  • Holding it like girl.

Ok Got to give him credit for that, all he needs is the skirt.

  • no sawdust coming from chain

No apparent evidence of any kind.

  • He of pursed lips pretending to operate a chainsaw

Yep he scores again.

  • Note: Motor running, chain not turning,(you can count the teeth on the chain) no sawdust coming from chain

You can see the numbers obviously not running.

Safety concerns: Dress inappropriate, wearing a tie (big no no) Performing for an audience including cameras - managing a power tool with significant dristraction.

I bet the guy in the green shirt was the real tradie doing that work.
