Scientists flummoxed by shrinking glaciers.
Feb 2nd, 2013 at 4:50pm

Contrary to newspaper reports of a 17 year hiatus in global warming, glaciers continue to shrink at a rapid rate. Well the scientist's aren't really flummoxed, they're not muppets easily fooled by statistical irrelevancies manufactured by cherry picking the right data. They know ther earth is warming and the planet is behaving in an entirely predictable manner.

its such a pity that the facts still say that temperatures are static. Of course if you had half of the intellience you claim you would be still easily able to understand the correlation.

here's a clue: ice melts by temperatures over 0 degrees. it does not melt because of INCREASING temperatures.

You got a problem walking and chewing gum, whitey?

Of course it's a political issue. It's the reason why we have a carbon price, one of the biggest issues in the upcoming election.

By the way, whitey, it's the poor that will be most vulnerable to the economic dislocation that is likely to result from global warming.

The global warming deniers like to
- cherry pick data that suits them
- misquote scientists
- argue semantics in publications
Meanwhile the glaciers continue to shrink.

Its not rocket science to realise that 7 billion people pumping out CO2 will change the atmosphere and the climate.

Still desperately clinging to the fallacy that global warming has stopped for the past 17 years.

Last decade was warmer than the decade before it. Global warming continues.

thats not a rebuttal. It is a selective use of year ranges designed to hide the truth, the FACTS are that the last 16 years have shown no rises in temeprature. and none is predicted either.  it could be that we have reached the top of the natural temperature variation cycle.  However, it remains true that there has been no warming for 16 years.

get over it. we have,

earth is warming, eh ?

So right off the bat we know beyond doubt that you are at most possibly 14 or 15 years old

Of those few years, you can't remember say, ten of those years in any detail, particularly in relation to the weather

Of the possible remaining four or five years of your short life and even shorter attention-span, you were clearly sucking up the cool-aid of global-warming pap fed you by those who regard you as a complete moron lacking independent thought

Best leave weather issues to those with both brain and memory through several decades

such as those in Sydney right now, where INDOORS it is reaching for 19 degrees

That's right -- 19 degrees.  And where are the hysterical headlines about it or anything to match the sqealing about one hot day a few weeks ago?  Nope.  Nothing.  Dead silence from the media

Those who've actually lived real lives well remember January temperatures in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s compared with post millenium and can tell you from personal experience that in the past, at this time of year, people knew to expect searing heat well into the 40s, plus heavy humidity.  If you'd told them that in 2013, people in Sydney would be wearing jumpers in early February because it was only 19 degrees -- they wouldn't have believed you, to put it mildly

And if these incredibly poor Paid to Posts were to glance at the true situation with global cooling, they'd forsake their .14 shekels per post and move lock, stock and larder up to Far North Queensland in the hope of avoiding, if only for a short while, the coming Ice Age

Yep, 19 degrees indoors in Sydney.  Colder outdoors.  At what used to be the hottest time of year.  Yet no media hysteria or cherry picking the records about that

thats not even a proposition that makes sense. you need actual proof to support that statement and there is none.
