help help someone has hacked skippys acc and posted a logical balanced post, gthank god for small miracles.

But no Gillard will not be dumped.

Rudd is hated and noone else wants to be the captain of the ship when it goes down at election time. More career opportunities after the election when most of the competition has been voted out??

Anyone who puts their personal career above consigning Abbott to the dustbin of history has no right to lead us. That includes Julia Gillard.

in a few months he wil be PM so you might as well get used to the idea of polices that are implemented correctly, polices that make sense and a reduction in debt and deficit.

that must suck for you.

How could what you say suck for me. Unfortunately, what you say is highly unlikely.

why unlikely? if history is any guide it is more than likely. it wont be as easy or quick this time, but it is certainly possible if only because at least Abbott is going to TRY to rein in debt and deficit spending. Labor dont seem remotely interested in it.

Labor will be dumped, not Gillard or Swan, Rudd, Short, Carr, Crean, Garrett, Combet, Thommo. They are the symptoms of why Labor will lose the next election.
And if Abbott stuffs up, he will be dumped after on term. The long reign of Howard will not be repeated for some time.

Paying off the $96B Labor debt got him 12 years

This time around the Labor debt is $250B - it should take abit longer.

It took Labor 12 months to change Workchoices - and they still use it 6 years on as a political weapon

So about should have plenty of ammo

Everyone I here talk about politics says Gillard is buggered but Abbott is worse. The only person I know that says they can't wait for phony tony is my mother in law, and she is a member of the conga line of suckholes, she would vote for Hitler if he was Liberal leader.

I am no fan of Abbott, but that's a pretty nasty thing to say about your own mother in law.

For me, Abbott is the lesser of two evils.

Carr's part of the NSW disease, and he's a Senator, so rule him out.

Shorten is the natural leader, but I would think it highly probable that he doesn't want to take the poisoned chalice.

Combet is no leader.

Rudd is too damaged to come back.

Out of the list, Crean seems the most likely to me.

No one wants her job - at the moment. Who wants to be the leader of an outed party?
Be interesting after the election though - I can see the daggers already being sharpened.

His NSW link certainly does him no favours.

No need to rule him out just because he's a Senator though: there's nothing stopping a PM coming from the Senate.

Will they do it? If so who will be the next PM? I'm not so sure it will be Rudd, he'll run but I reckon the Rudd haters will support a third candidate. The question is who?
Carr
Crean
Smith
Combet
Shorton
These are the only real contenders. And Shorton and Combet probably dont want to cruel their futures, so its a night watchmen, Crean Carr or Smith. The rest are very long odds, like Peter Garret is 250 to 1 .

Kevin Rudd is the only man Abbott fears and the only one with any chance of winning an election.   And in my opinion, he is probably the only one in the ALP that we have an outside chance that he will consider his obligation before God in his decision making... Cool

Abbott isn't afraid of Rudd, he's relishing the opportunity to thrash him at the polls as is every other Australian who was denied the opportunity because Dullard knifed him.

I also love all the lefty ravings about Abbott and religion, when Rudd is there front and centre of every church he can find (particularly ones with journo's posted outside) - now that is smacking funny.
