Batman is real:

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-500523_162-57572385/batman-turns-in-burglary-suspect...

Quote:
LONDON A man dressed as Batman brought a suspected burglar into a police station in northern England.

West Yorkshire Police said Monday that they do not know the identity of the man who appeared in "a full Batman outfit" and turned in a 27-year-old suspect to police in Bradford.

Surveillance camera images released by police show a caped crusader — fully clad with the comic hero's boots, gloves and logo across his chest — standing alongside a man in a red hooded sweatshirt.

The Bradford Police wrote on their Facebook page that
"Batman came into the help desk, stated to the staff, 'I've caught this one for you,'
and then promptly vanished into the night to fight crime and the fear of crime in Bradford."

Police said the handover occurred on February 25 and the suspect will appear in court on March 8, charged with handling stolen goods and fraud-related offenses.

The suspect, the police further noted, was also wanted for an offense in another community.

Kathryn Sutcliffe, co-manager of The Joke Shop, a costume store in Bradford, told BBC News that she had sold a Batman outfit to a man in his 20s a couple of days before the reported incident.

"Usually they want the 'Dark Knight' costume, but he wanted this one," Sutcliffe said, adding he wanted "the muscly chest as well."

Though she has the buyer's credit card receipt, she said she would keep his identity a secret.

oh for more Batmans..........lovely thought to have a caped crusader looking out for us..

I guess the next thing we will hear is he has been arrested and will be charged with unlawful arrest...and thrown in jail whilst the thief gets 10 days community service.

I have been wondering, as I am sure you have as to how long it would take the government to take action against the mortgage brokers who are responsible for at least a portion of the collapse of the sub-prime mortgage industry. After following several newspaper accounts for this information it's finally happening, and there will be more to come. The problem with this market is the lack of regulation of mortgage brokers. We regulate banks, Savings and Loan companies and the like but the brokers are not. The reason given for this is that they are not the lenders but only sales people.

Well, no, actually, I haven't been wondering about it at all...

Not sure you are quite on topic, Imani.
